Enjoyed Market at Olds Cow Palace yesterday from 3:30 to 6:30. I thank you for coming to my table. Do stop by on Aug 24.
I offer Power Point and discussion of First Nations relationships with Settler Peoples. My passion has grown as I followed my life path from tragedy to service to others, to writing my book, and constant study of indigenous issues. I like the talking circle format because we really need to hear every point of view. Group facilitation is a skill I’ve used for my own and others improved self esteem. I am also available for public speaking to churches, service…..
I thank the people who came to my table. I’m glad for the new faces and new friends. I’ve sold over 500 books. I’m glad to see those who bought my book and look forward to hearing comments.
I will be signing and selling my book Seven to Seventy at Stettler Trade Show April 7 to 9. It will be a really REALLY BIG SHOW as Canada celebrates 150 years. I hope to see you there.
For March ending on 28th you can view 30 and 60 sec promotions of my book Seven to Seventy: My Journey through Time. The action visuals include photos from the book, prairie scenes and flames. I think you will be glad to see them. There is also the interview from my website.
In this year of celebration of “Canada’s” 150 years we must not forget our hosts who were here before we arrived. There is much more truth that can be uncovered if we study. The CBC has a list of 15 books about Indigenous History and experiences. I have read three and was able to get three more at Coles at Medicine Hat Mall. We found all of them available for order at Coles, Chapters and Indigo. CBCbooks.ca/15 books to read…..
Coles in Medicine Hat Mall has two new copies of my book. Coronation Value Drugs also carries copies. If you don’t find it at the first counter on entering. Ask. I can bring more. Any book store has them available for ordering. Indigo at Signal Hill in Calgary should have a copy on hand. Try Coles at Parkland in Red Dear.
I went to workshops and celebrations in Winnipeg, Grand Prairie, Big Valley, Calgary, and Saskatoon. I also read volumes of indigenous history and individual experiences. We are all treaty people. I have joined others in studying the application of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous people. My search for Truth and Reconciliation continues. My book was a journey of healing and discovery. I’ve enjoyed sharing my book and my learning and providing information. One of the abilities…..
I’ve ordered business cards to advertise my book and Talking Circle. You can learn more about my recent studies, activities, and my Talking Circles at markets and book signings.
